This destroyed cemetery was located about ½ mile south of
Lynnville but no trace of it is now to be seen as the tombstones have been
removed. The burial ground reportedly was situated on a ridge in the middle
of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 8 of Township
14 N Range 11 W. It was in a field northwest of the T-road intersection
halfway between Lynnville and the Morgan-Scott county line.

| Wilson, William (Billy) | He was listed as owner of this land in the 1872 edition of "Atlas Map of Morgan County, Illinois." Apparently his death certificate is not recorded in Morgan County and a Jacksonville relative believes William Wilson died in the late 1800s or early 1900s in Scott County, Illinois. |
